Tafsir of Verse 11, Surah Al-Haaqqa

إِنَّا لَمَّا طَغَا ٱلْمَآءُ حَمَلْنَٰكُمْ فِى ٱلْجَارِيَةِ ﴿11﴾

Display verse 11, Surah Al-Haaqqa in the Quran

English Translation

Indeed, when the water overflowed, We carried your ancestors in the sailing ship (11)

English Transliteration

Inna lamma tagha almao hamalnakum fee aljariyati (11)

Tafsir of Verse 11

Lo, when the waters rose, We bore you in the running ship (11)

We, when the water (of Noah's Flood) overflowed beyond its limits, carried you (mankind), in the floating (Ark), (11)
