إِن كَانَتْ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَٰحِدَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ خَٰمِدُونَ ﴿29﴾

English Translation

It was not but one shout, and immediately they were extinguished. (29)

English Transliteration

In kanat illa sayhatan wahidatan faitha hum khamidoona (29)

Tafsir of Verse 29

It was only one Cry and lo, they were silent and still. (29)

It was no more than a single mighty Blast, and behold! they were (like ashes) quenched and silent. (29)
