Tafsir of Verse 57, Surah An-Nahl

وَيَجْعَلُونَ لِلَّهِ ٱلْبَنَٰتِ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ ۙ وَلَهُم مَّا يَشْتَهُونَ ﴿57﴾

Display verse 57, Surah An-Nahl in the Quran

English Translation

And they attribute to Allah daughters - exalted is He - and for them is what they desire. (57)

English Transliteration

WayajAAaloona lillahi albanati subhanahu walahum ma yashtahoona (57)

Tafsir of Verse 57

And they assign to God daughters; glory be to Him! -- and they have their desire; (57)

And they assign daughters for Allah! - Glory be to Him! - and for themselves (sons,- the issue) they desire! (57)
