ٱرْكُضْ بِرِجْلِكَ ۖ هَٰذَا مُغْتَسَلٌۢ بَارِدٌ وَشَرَابٌ ﴿42﴾

English Translation

[So he was told], "Strike [the ground] with your foot; this is a [spring for] a cool bath and drink." (42)

English Transliteration

Orkud birijlika hatha mughtasalun baridun washarabun (42)

Tafsir of Verse 42

'Stamp thy foot! This is a laving-place cool, and a drink.' (42)

(The command was given:) "Strike with thy foot: here is (water) wherein to wash, cool and refreshing, and (water) to drink." (42)
