Tafsir of Verse 42, Surah Ash-Shu'araa

قَالَ نَعَمْ وَإِنَّكُمْ إِذًا لَّمِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ ﴿42﴾

Display verse 42, Surah Ash-Shu'araa in the Quran

English Translation

He said, "Yes, and indeed, you will then be of those near [to me]." (42)

English Transliteration

Qala naAAam wainnakum ithan lamina almuqarrabeena (42)

Tafsir of Verse 42

He said, 'Yes indeed; and you shall then be among the near-stationed.' (42)

He said: "Yea, (and more),- for ye shall in that case be (raised to posts) nearest (to my person)." (42)
