Tafsir of Verse 40, Surah Ash-Shu'araa

لَعَلَّنَا نَتَّبِعُ ٱلسَّحَرَةَ إِن كَانُوا۟ هُمُ ٱلْغَٰلِبِينَ ﴿40﴾

Display verse 40, Surah Ash-Shu'araa in the Quran

English Translation

That we might follow the magicians if they are the predominant?" (40)

English Transliteration

LaAAallana nattabiAAu alssaharata in kanoo humu alghalibeena (40)

Tafsir of Verse 40

Haply we shall follow the sorcerers if it should be they are the victors.' (40)

"That we may follow the sorcerers (in religion) if they win?" (40)
