Tafsir of Verse 5, Surah Al-Furqaan

وَقَالُوٓا۟ أَسَٰطِيرُ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٱكْتَتَبَهَا فَهِىَ تُمْلَىٰ عَلَيْهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا ﴿5﴾

Display verse 5, Surah Al-Furqaan in the Quran

English Translation

And they say, "Legends of the former peoples which he has written down, and they are dictated to him morning and afternoon." (5)

English Transliteration

Waqaloo asateeru alawwaleena iktatabaha fahiya tumla AAalayhi bukratan waaseelan (5)

Tafsir of Verse 5

They say, 'Fairy-tales of the ancients that he has had written down, so that they are recited to him at the dawn and in the evening.' (5)

And they say: "Tales of the ancients, which he has caused to be written: and they are dictated before him morning and evening." (5)

Verse 5 - Surah Al-Furqaan: (وقالوا أساطير الأولين اكتتبها فهي تملى عليه بكرة وأصيلا...) - English
