Tafsir of Verse 22, Surah Al-Fath

وَلَوْ قَٰتَلَكُمُ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَوَلَّوُا۟ ٱلْأَدْبَٰرَ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُونَ وَلِيًّا وَلَا نَصِيرًا ﴿22﴾

Display verse 22, Surah Al-Fath in the Quran

English Translation

And if those [Makkans] who disbelieve had fought you, they would have turned their backs [in flight]. Then they would not find a protector or a helper. (22)

English Transliteration

Walaw qatalakumu allatheena kafaroo lawallawoo aladbara thumma la yajidoona waliyyan wala naseeran (22)

Tafsir of Verse 22

If the unbelievers had fought you, they would have turned their backs, and then found neither protector nor helper; (22)

If the Unbelievers should fight you, they would certainly turn their backs; then would they find neither protector nor helper. (22)
