Tafsir of Verse 10, Surah Al-An'aam

وَلَقَدِ ٱسْتُهْزِئَ بِرُسُلٍ مِّن قَبْلِكَ فَحَاقَ بِٱلَّذِينَ سَخِرُوا۟ مِنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ ﴿10﴾

Display verse 10, Surah Al-An'aam in the Quran

English Translation

And already were messengers ridiculed before you, but those who mocked them were enveloped by that which they used to ridicule. (10)

English Transliteration

Walaqadi istuhzia birusulin min qablika fahaqa biallatheena sakhiroo minhum ma kanoo bihi yastahzioona (10)

Tafsir of Verse 10

Messengers indeed were mocked at before thee; but those that scoffed at them were encompassed by that they mocked at. (10)

Mocked were (many) messengers before thee; but their scoffers were hemmed in by the thing that they mocked. (10)
