So I swear by the Lord of [all] risings and settings that indeed We are able (40)

Fala oqsimu birabbi almasha riqi waa lmagha ribi inna laqa diroona (40)

No! I swear by the Lord of the Easts and Wests, surely We are able (40)
English Translation
To replace them with better than them; and We are not to be outdone. (41)

AAala an nubaddila khayran minhum wama nah nu bimasbooqeena (41)

to substitute a better than they; We shall not be outstripped. (41)
English Translation
So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised - (42)
English Transliteration
Fath arhum yakhood oo wayalAAaboo h atta yula qoo yawmahumu allath ee yooAAadoona (42)

Then leave them alone to plunge and play until they encounter that day of theirs which they are promised, (42)
English Translation
The Day they will emerge from the graves rapidly as if they were, toward an erected idol, hastening. (43)
English Transliteration
Yawma yakhrujoona mina alajda thi sira AAan kaannahum ila nus ubin yoofid oona (43)

the day they shall come forth from the tombs hastily, as if they were hurrying unto a waymark, (43)
English Translation
Their eyes humbled, humiliation will cover them. That is the Day which they had been promised. (44)
English Transliteration
Kha shiAAatan absa ruhum tarhaquhum th illatun tha lika alyawmu allath ee ka noo yooAAadoona (44)
